    updated Trackpad+Keyboard PS2 32/64

Thanks a lot. Works on my Lenovo L520 with OSX 10.9.5 ( IAtkos M version )
  2. My Lenovo L520 had a whitelist which stopped boot with the error: ? "1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the miniPCI network card (1199/0218)" (or something similar) ? As the installed intel centrino wireless card did not work with OSX I bought a very cheap ( <5€ ) Atheros AR9285 mini pci card.? ? The site bios-mods.com has many solutions for problems like this. This is a link to the forum topic: ? https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Lenovo-L420-whitelist-removal ? This link is for the file download: ? https://app.box.com/s/j4fffsagyzlohxmnvq6t ? Worked great for me, never again a whitelist. I can install any wifi or wlan card now. ? I put the files into the download section. http://www.hackintoshosx.com/files/file/4399-thinkpad-l420-l421-l520rar/

My Lenovo L520 had a whitelist which stopped boot with the error: "1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the miniPCI network card (1199/0218)" (or something similar) The first file removes the whitelist check in the Lenovo L520 BIOS Backup the old BIOS first, then just flash the BIOS in Windows. Shut down Windows. Install the new mini pci wifi/wwan card (I chose the Atheros AR9285) Check if the BIOS still stops with the whitelist error. Boot into Mac Osx (I got 10.8) run the ar9285 package. Reboot Now you should have a running wifi card.

    WiFi ar9285 ar9287

Works great for me on 10.8.2 . Before installation of the AR9285 card into my Lenovo L520 I needed to flash BIOS to remove the blacklist.

    OSx86.net Creativity Poll

John, Rene and Lacedaemon did help me the most to install 10.7 and 10.8 on intel p55 to P67/H77/X77 chipsets so, this vote I can not decide.-

    Installation Problem

Yes, Gigabyte main board really is THE Choice of osx compatibility. But I got IAtkos ML2 also running on Asus P8Z77-M with Nvidia GTX 660. But I did install it with my GA-H77-D3H and then I plugged the ready-installed HDD onto the P8Z77-M. My necessary boot flags were -v npci=0x3000 for first USB boot and for reboot used -v npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=No At the moment I cannot see any reason why the ASUS Z77-M pro should not work like my non-pro edition.

    Installation Problem

    1. post your hardware spec. as precise as you can. (Chipset, graphics, etc.) 2. try to boot with -v npci=0x3000 also try to add GraphicsEnabler=No or =Yes, depending on your graphics card. 3. Check your Bios settings, try optimized default settings, then set SATA to AHCI and other common settings like HPET=64-bit... 4. your chipset should be compatible, if retail installation does nor work, try N{censored} or IAtkos ML2, first start of UBS media should work with -v npci=0x3000 I got it run on GA-H77-D3H and also on GA-Z77X-D3H so why ASUS shall not ??

    mountain lion won't sleep

I got IAtkos ML2 on installed on PC systems. They support sleep without DSDT. Also rewake works. But on my laptop, lenovo G560 sleep does not work. I even tried with a DSDT file, but also sleep is not fully supported. You can check if graphics is fully supported running cinebench. Open GL test only works with fully supported graphics.

    Help with Samsung Q430

Okay, if you look up my specs, you see my Lenovo G650 is very similar to your Samsung laptop. IAtkos L2 ( Osx Lion 10.7.2 ) works best for me. IAtkos ML2 ( Osx Mountain Lion 10.8.2 ) is possilble to install, but less stable in case of extra kext installations. So try 10.7.2 version first. Retail installation will not work most of the time. Very complicated. Load by torrent ( give me email if you need torrent ) - after download transform file onto USB stick. use disk utility. - first boot -> boot flags: -v npci=0x2000 or -v npci=0x3000 also try -v -x npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes / No also UsbBusFix=No / Yes - see if BIOS settings are right ( SATA to AHCI , power S3 mode , optimized default settings , HPET=64-bit ... ) - install with first boot like -v npci=0x3000 - do not select kexts for devices you do not have to prevent reboot problems. - reboot with -v npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes - set user settings, install missing devices by MB{censored} from {censored}.com - have fun. I am sure your laptop is compatible, I had a Samsung core i3-xxx and I got it work as well using IAtkos L2, only LAN card did not work. But the Atheros WLAN was supported. please report success / problems. If you got problems, please give us your exact devices and specs like Chipset, LAN cards.. Good night.

How to download and install it ?

Well, I got IAtkos L2 installed. IAtkos ML 2 install is also possible. Load by torrent. Then create USB stick. Retail installation did never work properly on my lenovo.. You can give me email - I'll send you torrents, if you can't find. And please post your systems specs, I can not really help you without: Chipset, LAN cards, onboard devices, anything is helpful. Use system info tools or Linux PCI information to read out.

Dell Inspiron N5110 with iATKOS S3_V2

Do you have full HD3000 support ? I mean can you run OpenGL test with CineBench 11.5 ? Because I got HD3000 to run on a Mainboard with about 768MB supported RAM, but for full acceleration you need to have a DSDT file that has the full device-id informations. But the nvidia card you should get to run: I made the Nvidia gtx650ti with 1 GB run on GA-P67X-UD3-B3 as well as on the GA-H77-D3H using core i5-2500K or i7-2600 CPU. These give me very good results. But no way using retail method or N{censored}12495 10.8 version. The only Distribution that got me to work the Nvidia gtx 650ti 1GB is the IAtkos ML2 - select nvenabler and support for >2GB cards - even if you got less, it worked for me. - or select only nvenabler and try the further support from newest MB{censored} version. There is one for >2GB GPURAM and one for less than 2GB. Worked for me on the PC systems above. And the best thing is: Sleep + rewake is enabled without DSDT. (Works only for PC, I guess, my Lenovo G560 did not sleep.) - I had to restart like -v npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=No But have a try on IAtkos ML2 10.8.2 version - it's genius and easy. As it supports gtx 650ti which really is problematic it should also enable your GT525m, please report;)
  12. To enable sleep, the IAtkos ML2 version worked for me. I don't know how they made it, but on PC systems it enables sleep and rewake without DSDT. I tested it on the GA-P67X-UD3-B3 and on the GA-H77-D3H with the Gainward Nvidia GTX560ti 1GB card. It is very simple to install and it solves the installation problems I had with the GTX560ti.
  13. I found out that 10.7.x supports HD 3000 by native with full resolution and you do not need to do anything. 10.8.x did not support HD 3000 on my Asus Z77 Mainboard with i5-2500K CPU:( I had 1024x768 resolution and had no luck replacing some kexts as told in some other posts. Can someone give me a safe guide I can make intel HD 3000 work at full resolution with 10.8.2 ? By the way: My Chameleon boot loader problem only comes with HDDs >= 1TB size. To fully install use a second hdd < 1TB installed with 10.8 or 10.7 - find the boot1h file at /Volumes/osx8/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h and copy it like sudo dd if=/Volumes/osx8/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk1s3 before dd you have to deactivate partition disk1s3 using disk utility. Activate again after dd, reboot, enjoy.
  14. 1. Thank you for your condolence for my OCZ-vertex3 240GB ssd. As i was able to buy a new one from Amazon, I could replace the defective one, that I bought used from ebay. But I will never again try to create anything like an extended partition on a ssd. The /dev/sda5 and /dev/sda6 partition for a Linux installation seems like a recipe to kill a OCZ-ssd completely. Maybe I am wrong, but I will never try out again. 2. Yes, this is helpful. My mistake was to install onto HDDs with 2 or 3 TB and not to copy dd if=/Volumes/osx8/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk1s3 while disk1s3 needs to be deactivated. Installing 10.8 onto a partition using MBR is no Problem at all, I only need to create a second partition with win7 DVD and format it at once with NTFS. Else OSX disk utility will not be able to format it with osx journaling file system. But this is a nice guide lokster wrote. Very similar to the way I got used to install my multiosx systems (win7, osx8, [K]ubuntu ) 3. Log into AppStore is not a question of N{censored}12495 version or retail installation. I never had this problem at home, but a customer of the first OSX-PC I sold to had it. Deleting the lan network connection and creating new after reboot did not help at all. He can log in now and the guide is like that: a) Download Efi Studio and chameleon wizard. Efi Studio. - Downloads - OSx86.net Open Efi Studio and select "Ethernet" and click "add device". Mark the Device ID now and copy it. c) Open Chameleon Wizard now. You click on the "org.chameleon.Boot" symbol. Now copy this device ID into the field at the bottom. Then click "save" to write into /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist file. Looks like this: 4. Sleep / rewake function Phoebe10191 seems to have found a way that works:) but please will you explain this to me a little more exactly. Somehow I do not really understand what you did. I tried around on my Lenovo G560 after I found a DSDT from a G570 that works on my G560 very good. Also I tried on a Gigabyte PC system with a DSDT, but I did not yet crack the rewake function. This Sleep / rewake point would make it so much easier to sell OSX PC systems at a better price.

    Efi Studio.

Works with 10.8 and also 10.7 you can add this as I did test it. Helps to solve the App Store "unknown error" case if you just select Ethernet. Mark the ID number and add the device using Chameleon Wizard. Thanks a lot.
