  1. Hey dont worry about all the stuff in your boot.plist like graphics enabler, ethernet, default partition etc etc thats for chameleon and not for boot Think just try the boot.plist i posted in my last post and put it in darwin folder in boot think. If that still don't work try this EFIStudio Open then make sure Display is selected for device from drop down box the under that select your graphics card then click add device. That will bring up a new window then select write to com.apple.boot.plist and that will write it to boot.plist in Library/Preferences/System Configuration/com.apple.boot.plist. From there you can copy that boot.plist to boot think or keep it in the folder up to you.
  2. Stay away from DSDT graphics if you don't know what your doing, Use this Hex-code in your boot.plist in the darwin folder in Boot Think. <key>device-properties</key> <string>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</string> Thats for a 7300GT 256mb. I have attached an a boot.plist also with support for 7300 GT 256 mb in case you don't understand.
  3. arch=i386 and -x32 are the same thing. -x32 don't work with Chameleon RC3 but arch=i386 dose
  4. Hey, Boot think hides the HDD in the GUI that wont boot, so that explains your data HDD being hidden but Im not sure about your XP i haven't tested with it because i haven't used XP for years but i know for sure it boots Vista and Windows 7 fine. If you want to show all HDD when you reach the GUI press F8 then enter this #p=+ hit enter then restart you computer then you will see all HDD in GUI. To get back to Boot Think hidding no bootable HDD follow above steps but type #p=- then restart. About 32-bit mode in boot.plist enter arch=i386 in Kernel Flags then you will boot into 32-bit every time and it wont affect Leopard in anyway.
  5. Boot Think. Latest version is 2.3.18 here Update from 2.3.17 with this here It Boots Retail Leopard and Snow Leopard DVD from USB Stick It Boots Leopard from HDD It Boots Snow Leopard From HDD in 32-bit or 64-bit mode Custom DSDT loading Custom Boot.plist Loading Custom smbios.plist Loading It all works Great. Heres How: 1.Download Latest boot think from link above 2.Format a usb stick to GUID Mac OS Extended (Journaled) 3.Install boot think to your usb stick 4.To boot Snow Leopard navigate to CD folder in /Darwin/System in the usb stick, In there replace extensions.mkext with the extensions.mkext found in snow leopard retail dvd found in /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/ ( you will need to show hidden files to navigate to the folder in the dvd ) 5. Still in the CD folder Delete what is in usrmkext 6. Still in the CD folder Delete what is in extensions folder and replace with you extensions you use to boot Snow Leopard. Loads of Snow Leopard Kexts found Here **Note if you want to boot Leopard retail you must follow above steps but use the extensions.mkext form Leopard DVD and use Leopard compatible kexts*** 6. Now in LibrarySL found in /Darwin/System on the usb stick delete what is ever in the Extensions folder 7. Still in the LibrarySL folder go to the x64 folder then extensions folder within the x64 folder then delete what ever is in there and replace with your Snow leopard kexts ( use same kexts as you used in the Cd folder ) 8. Repeat step 7 for the x86 folder in /Darwin/System 9. To Boot Leopard from HDD you will need to place your Leopard compatible extensions or extensions.mkext in the Library folder found in /Darwin/System. 10. Custom DSDT goes into /Darwin in usb stick 11. Custom boot.plist goes into /Darwin in usb stick ( Remove boot__.pist ) 12. Custom smbios.plist goes into /Darwin in usb stick ( Remove Smbios__.plist) Thats about it, boot from usb stick and if you want to boot form retail dvd press C a few times when the spinning cursor is shown or if you want to boot from HDD don't press C and let Boot think enter its GUI then Select HDD.
