Is it possible to run hackintosh on iMac A1207

Question

Hi everyone!

My son gave me a bunch of hardware to take to the recyclers, Including an iMac A1207, Core 2 Duo 2.16ghz, (2006).

Yeah, it's an old machine, but still serviceable. Since Apple wants people to throw away perfectly  good equipment, I was wondering if it would be possible to run this as a Hackintosh with Sierra or higher.

Does anyone have any suggestion?

Thanks!

No shame in asking the question though!

You could something like Puppy Linux easily or any other light distro then use it as a second screen with Synergy

The thing is that - old machines draw lots of power - so a cheap new second screen is probably better.

But then again.... that is no fun - and is not as cool :)
