Installing the system

 

 

sudo cp -r -v ~/Desktop/CMI8738PCIAudioDriver.kext /System/Library/Extensions/

sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/CMI8738PCIAudioDriver.kext

I will be trying this tonight. ?I have had no luck with the previous kexts such as the one for SL or Lion 64 bit. ?I am excited to finally have audio without a USB device. ?I am currently on an EVGA SR-2 running 10.9.2. ?

I tried it with both CMI8738 and CMI8786 and it has the same outcome as the previous kexts I have tried. ?The cards are detected but there is no sound and changing volume with the keyboard is very delayed and itunes does not work properly, more then just no audio but the files do not play (stay at 0:0) and youtube videos play only for a few seconds then stop. Has anyone else tried these kexts and gotten them to work? I am on 10.9.2.?

How to install a CMI8738-v55-MC6.kext to the system.

Starting from: 10.9.0: 10.10.0: 10.11.0: 10.12.0.

Disable SIP protect-signing verification kext.

HE'S NOT ready for wider dissemination.

He still needs to "put the signature» 

But I really need reports on Evo work.

Operate the microphone or not well and more.

На Mac OS X 10.12.1 работает нормально вот только боюсь микрофон подключать так как 6 канальная плата на kext(е) CMI-8738 v34 вообще перестала работать после подключения микрофона (((

Сейчас подключена 4 канальная 8738 плата!

In General, all well on 10.12.5-sound works (preferably hash update, via Terminal).

To enable (5.1-channel. and sound output). You need to connect additional power to your card.

(Default. Audio 2.1 Kanal).
